Leading up the Celtic celebration of Samhain, I’ve been thinking about our ancestors and if they ever thought about the generations to come and how one day their name could have a branch of its own, as part of a crowded family tree.
Or was their only mission to survive? As many of their stories have shown us.
With every cell in my body, I know that we are standing at a crux, as they once did too. After all, many of my cells were once theirs, so I’m not only thinking of them, I’m feeling them too.
We are ALL the fortunate ones, the great, great, great-grandchildren of the healers that survived to pass their gifts onto us.
Whether we are raising a family, leading a company, teaching in and out of a classroom, caring for those in need, or walking our path with a smile, we are healing others and ourselves.
We ALL matter, simply because WE ARE.
